Currently investigating a novel, myeloid cell-based, immunotherapeutic strategy for glioblastoma, an aggressive type of brain tumors. Awarded a PhD studentship from the University of Brighton (UK) in 2016, to examine the molecular drivers of cognitive dysfunction in pre-treatment cancer patients, following an MSc project in neuro-regeneration at the University of Hasselt (Belgium) and a genetics-based Erasmus+ internship at La Paz University Hospital, Madrid (Spain).
