BIO

My research combines field, laboratory, and collections-based approaches to analyze the structure, physiology, ecology, and evolution of parasitic flowering plants. I started my career in Brazil, where obtained my bachelor’s degree in Biology at the Federal University of São Paulo (2011). I then graduated from both Master’s (2015) and PhD (2019) in Botany at the University of São Paulo. During my first postdoctoral position I worked at the Harvard University Herbaria (USA, 2019-2021), and later did junior sabbatical fellowship at the Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (Germany, 2021-2022).
