Final IMPACT panel

February 17, 2026

On 12th February, we held the final panel that concluded the 2-year training cycle of our 11 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions IMPACT fellows. It was a day full of inspiration, warmth, and a bit of nostalgia!

Each fellow delivered a 10-minute case pitch, followed by questions with a jury of experts, including science communication expert Annelies Van Dyck, IP manager Hugo Loosvelt, and professor Maarten Messagie. The jury members asked insightful questions and shared helpful tips which will also help the fellows in the long-term.

The event also included the fellows’ supervisors, family members, and friends, which contributed to making it a festive occasion!

It was inspiring to see how far the fellows have progressed in their reflections about impact over the past two years. Some of them will influence policies and regulations, others will set up their own companies, and others will pursue their academic careers. Despite their different fields and their different career paths, we have no doubt that they are going to be the movers and shakers of the future.

We wish them all huge successes!
