Our 2nd imπACT call has closed on 31 August 2023 with a total of 73 applications for postdoctoral fellowships. Applicants from all over the world (33 countries!) and from many different disciplines have submitted their proposals to come and work with the excellent research groups at VUB for a period two years.
In terms of gender, we have received 49 applications from male candidates and 23 applications from female candidates.
The figure below shows the distribution of proposals across the three thematic areas of Life Sciences, Science and Engineering, and Social Sciences and Humanities:
Each proposal is currently being reviewed by three independent external experts. The imπACT Management Team will collect the feedback and the scores, prepare consensus reports, rank the proposals, and then inform the candidates by mid-November.
